How we decide what to link to

• We only link to gear we would specify on a real Carbon Zero House build.
• Recommendations are independent of whether a manufacturer pays us a commission.
• If two products meet the same need and one pays affiliate and the other does not, we still pick the better product. We say which is which.
• We never accept paid placements that are not labeled as such.
